I work as a machine operator sa Factory at “Boy” sa isang Bar sa Japan… both walang kinalaman sa pagsusulat ng email.
Yet, I’m able to earn a living by writing emails alone ng nasa bahay lang.
Paano ko nagawa yun?
Simple lang…
I’m Ralph Berras AKA Master Ash, may ari na ako ng isang 7-figure software company dito sa pilipinas. And that was the result na nabigay sakin ng pagsusulat ng email.
So before, when I was 19 isa lang akong college undergrad na nanggaling sa 4 types of school. Sa hirap ng buhay kasi umasa lang ako sa promise na pagaaralin ako ng mga tita ko. And by the time na ayaw na nila ituloy...
That's the time na nag decide na ang parents ko na akuin na yung gastos nagpapaaral sakin, hindi na nila kinaya after ko matapos yung 2nd year ko sa college. And hindi rin kakayanin kung mag woworking student ako, kasi kapos padin sa panggastos sa bahay.
That’s why sabi ko sa sarili ko hindi na ako aasa kahit kanino, I can do this by myself and be rich yung tipong di ko na kailangan pang umasa kahit kanino and I decided to stop and start looking for a job at the age of 19… After ng 1st job ko sa Universal Robina as a contractual worker for 6 months, naging regular worker naman ako sa Asia brewery as a machine operator.
4 years ako sa Asia Brewery na 2k per week lang ang sweldo and dahil sa sobrang baba ng provincial rate, that’s the time na nag try ako mag business on the side...
I tried trucking business pero nag-fail, I tried lending money at nag-fail din, I tried network marketing din, yung PAYAMAN-PAYAMAN pero nag fail din.
Then I got the chance pumunta ng Japan, inalok kasi ako ng cousin ko, so I said yes…
Sino ba naman aayaw? Japan yun haha.
Nung nasa Japan na ako, ang trabaho ko dun construction worker, so kahit nag i-snow nag wowork kami. And it’s funny na buong stay ko sa Japan for 3 months, wala akong naging rest day. (Sakit diba)
After 3 months nakauwi na kami may bit-bit akong 90K. Yes 90 thousand lang kinita ko dun. At mostly pinang bayad lang nung mga pinagkakautangan ng nanay ko.
Then hanap nanaman ako ng trabaho sa Maynila kasi di na ako makabalik sa Factory work ko sa Asia Brewery.
I tried applying sa 3 call center pero bagsak lahat kasi nga wrong grammar ako. Hindi talaga ako magaling sa english.
Then no choice na ko kundi humanap na ulit ng mabigat na trabaho. So naging warehouse man naman ako sa Mandaluyong, sa Focus Global, dun sa tabi ng TV 5 yung office.
I worked there for 7 months and while working there I looked for another source of income, which is nakita ko ang freelancing as an email copywriter.
Pero one day may tumawag sa phone ko...
...that’s my cousin, anak nung tita ko na matagal ng nakatira sa Japan.
So inalok nya ko if gusto ko bumalik ng Japan. So sino ba ko para tumanggi?
Then inayus ko na ulit yung papers ko papunta ng Japan.
I resigned from my current job as a warehouseman and pursued Japan again and forgot email copywriting.
When I got there, wala akong trabaho, and humanap pa ng way yung pinsan ko para lang magka work ako. And nakakita sya pero as a boy sa isang bar. Ang trabaho ko nag seserve ako ng alak sa bar.
Originally ang contrata ko lang talaga ay 3 months and pwede lang eextend ng maximum 3 months ulit. Kaso inabutan ako ng 2019 pandemic.
So napa stay ako sa japan na umabot ng almost 2 years.

So napa stay ako sa japan na umabot ng almost 2 years.
And sa kasamaang palad nung 2021, february nag second wave yung covid, madami ng naapektuhan, maski ako nagka covid din.
Lahat ng trabaho sa Japan nawala and pwede lang mag work yung mga citizen don.
I decided to go back home na kasi mauubos lang yung perang naipon ko. And pag uwi ko, I found out…
…wala din pala akong dadatnang trabaho.
Hindi muna ako nag work, nasa bahay, gala dito gala doon kasi may pera pa ako eh. Not knowing nauubos na pala yung laman ng banko ko.
One day, mejo maluwang na hindi na ganon ka higpit yung mga malls kahit covid pa…
Nagpunta ako ng SM, while riding a jeep, nakapanuod ako ng Youtube and napanuod ko yung isang vlogger na iniinterview yung sikat na email copywriter na earning 6-figure.
Ako naman while watching konti konti ng bumabalik yung memories ko na nag try pala ako dati ng email copywriting.
And THING!
Biglang may idea na pumasok sa isip ko. Hinanap ko yung course nung iniinterview na email copywriter for email copywriting and agad agad nag enroll ako!

Ayun 6 months wala akong kita. That’s the time na why not gawin ko kung ano yung tama at sundin ko kung ano yung nandun sa course?
And as a fruit of my own labor… After a month, I got my first client as an email copywriter.
And the story goes until nakilala ko yung naging business partner ko sa pag build nung 7-figure-software namin. And that’s because of email copywriting.
